It is worth noting that Covaxin is a new coronavirus vaccine developed in India. It was developed by the Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotechnology Company in cooperation with the Medical Research Council of India and the National Institute of Virology of India.
Covishield will also be produced by the Serum Institute of India.

Indian Health Minister Vardan stated that the new crown vaccine will give priority to 10 million medical staff and 20,000 other people fighting the epidemic.
