It is worth noting that Covaxin is a new coronavirus vaccine developed in India. It was developed by the Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotechnology Company in cooperation with the Medical Research Council of India and the National Institute of Virology of India.

Covishield will also be produced by the Serum Institute of India.

"India Today" quoted Somani, director of the General Administration of Drug Administration of India, saying that the companies that developed the above two vaccines had submitted test data to relevant parties.

According to local test results disclosed by the Serum Institute of India, Covishield is more than 70% effective; Covaxin is also safe and can provoke a strong immune response in the body.

Therefore, these two vaccines have been approved for "restricted use" in emergency situations in India.

Indian Health Minister Vardan stated that the new crown vaccine will give priority to 10 million medical staff and 20,000 other people fighting the epidemic.

The Minister of Health of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the Delhi region), Satyendra Jain, said that the new crown vaccine will be provided to people in the Delhi region for free.

"We will establish 1,000 vaccination sites in the Delhi area. In the first phase, 100,000 people will be vaccinated every day."

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on his Twitter account that day that the two new coronavirus vaccines produced in India were approved for emergency use, making every Indian proud.

This will also speed up the lead of India to become a "new crown virus-free" and healthier country.

According to data released by the Indian health department on the morning of the 3rd, in the past 24 hours, there have been 18,177 new cases of new coronavirus infections across the country, which has exceeded 10.32 million.
