Munich (dpa) - Coach Hansi Flick does not expect FC Bayern Munich's national soccer player Serge Gnabry to fail.
The 25-year-old attacker probably only suffered a bruise on his shin on Sunday evening when the table leaders 5-2 in the Bundesliga home game against FSV Mainz 05 in a foul game by opponent Leandro Barreiro, which was punished with a penalty.
"We have to see how that works out," said Flick.
A bruise on the shin is "very painful," added the former professional.
Gnabry limped off the field in the 76th minute.
"I hope that he can start training again on Wednesday at the latest," said Flick.
Bayern will have to play Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga again on Friday evening.
