Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A 65-year-old man was killed in a fire in his tent in Hamburg.
According to initial findings, he spent the night on Saturday night in the tent in a bush at the main cemetery in Altona, as a police spokesman said.
He used a gas stove, possibly to cook or heat food.
The tent began to burn, and the man caught fire too.
The 65-year-old initially escaped outside - but then died in front of the tent.
The criminal police are investigating the case.
External fault was initially excluded.
