Munich (dpa) - The director of Circus Krone, Jana Mandana Lacey-Krone, gave birth to her second son on New Year's Eve.
"We are very grateful and overjoyed to be able to hold our offspring healthy and safe in our arms," said her husband Martin Lacey.
The older brother Alexis (12) is quoted as saying: "Nothing is more beautiful than growing up in the circus."
His little brother was named Charles Martin.
The circus posted a black and white photo of the baby on its website.
The message states: "For us, as for many of our fellow human beings, 2020 was fraught with great challenges and difficulties - but no end of the year could be more beautiful than the birth of a child."
Due to the corona pandemic, Circus Krone is currently closed.
