It was during New Year's night that the tragic accident took place.
At 03.20, the police received an alarm about a car that overturned off the road a couple of kilometers south of Gräsö church.
The driver and another passenger survived.
But a guy in his late teens died in the accident.
He went to the last year at Wilhelm Haglund's high school in Gimo.
The school has been open to students who wanted to meet after the accident.
- We opened yesterday already at 13, with the rules that exist.
We have the right to have the school open with adaptation and mouth protection.
It was some very nice hours with people who came.
It was about forty, says Lena Marklund, principal of the high school.
"A great loss"
On Friday, Skäfthammar's church in Gimo was open and today Östhammar's church is also open for those who want to meet, talk and mourn together.
- I'm there with students now.
Our thoughts go to the boy's family.
It is a huge loss for us, for young people and adults in the immediate area who had him close to us.
