Everything was ready for their New Year's Eve in Florida, but they finally left just before the party aboard Air Force One.

Donald Trump and his wife Melania left company with all their guests who had started to gather at the Trump International Gold Club in Palm Beach.

Why such a rushed departure?

No official explanation yet.

Landing in Washington, the president did not answer questions and immediately rushed into the Oval Office.

According to the American media, Donald Trump was very irritated during his stay in his Florida golf course, obsessed by his defeat that he still refuses to recognize.

Just before leaving Palm Beach, the president retweeted messages from his supporters calling on his Vice President Mike Pence not to ratify the Electoral College result next week.

This Wednesday, Congress must indeed officially certify the results of the presidential election.

Under pressure from Trump, a senator and several Republican deputies announced their intention to object to this certification of the results while at the same time thousands of pro-Trump activists intend to demonstrate in the capital to contest the victory of Joe Biden.
