Raesfeld (dpa / lnw) - A dispute between two drivers in Raesfeld in the Borken district got completely out of hand on New Year's Eve.

First, a 34-year-old from Wesel hit a 20-year-old from Dortmund with his fist in the face, as the police announced on Friday.

The trigger should have been the speed of the Dortmunders.

The police could no longer say whether he was traveling too fast or too slowly.

After the punch, the 34-year-old took a baseball bat out of his vehicle, hit the other car and then fled.

The approaching officers found illegal fireworks and a self-made gun construction in the unlocked car.

The police secured the finds, keys and vehicle registration.

During the check they found that the car was no longer properly reported.
