Ugandan opponent Bobi Wine has just been prevented from addressing his supporters again.
He was detained by police on Wednesday, December 30, along with several members of his team while campaigning in the Bugala Island district north of Lake Victoria.

He had barely
resumed his presidential campaign in Uganda

The Ugandan singer-turned-politician was taken under police escort to his home in Magere, in the capital Kampala.

The incident took place in the district of Kalangala, on Bugala Island north of Lake Victoria.
