Oslo (dpa) - More than 24 hours after a violent landslide in Norway, ten people are still missing.
The emergency services continued to search for them on Thursday night with drones and helicopters, they found a dog in the area, the police said in the morning.
At the same time, she called on people in the region not to set off any fireworks in the region before 11 p.m. so as not to endanger the helicopters and drones in the air.
There were no reports of deaths by Thursday morning.
The police made it clear on Wednesday evening: "The focus of the operation is on saving lives."

The landslide in Ask about 40 kilometers north of the capital Oslo occurred early Wednesday morning.
It expanded to a length of about 700 meters and a width of 300 meters.
At least ten people were injured.
Nine houses have collapsed as a result of the departure, others are at risk of collapse.
Almost 1,000 people were brought to safety.
The missing lived in the affected area, but it is not clear whether they were at home at the time of the disaster.
Parts of the area continued to be so unstable on Thursday that it was too dangerous for the search teams to enter on foot.
Norway was hit by a similar landslide in the summer.
At that time, the exit near Alta in the far north of the country pulled several houses and huts into the sea.
