Munich (dpa / lby) - A mother and her baby got into an awkward position in an apartment in Munich - and were rescued by the fire department.
According to the fire department, the woman closed the living room door behind her on Thursday, but could not open it later because the lock was broken.
Her one-year-old daughter was alone in the next room for dinner.
The desperate mother called for help from the third floor window.
A neighbor heard them and called the fire department, who broke open the apartment door.
While a firefighter looked after the baby, his colleagues freed the mother.
