Jordan decides to reduce the hours of the night curfew

Today, Wednesday, the Jordanian government decided to reduce the hours of the night curfew by two hours throughout the Kingdom after recording a decrease in the number of deaths and infections with the emerging Corona virus, and the government also decided to continue to suspend flights from Britain due to the emergence of a new strain of the emerging corona virus in parts of United kingdom.

The Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs Ali Al-Ayed said in a press conference: "It was decided to reduce the night curfew hours by two hours, to become from eleven o'clock at night for economic activities and twelve at night for the movement of individuals, and until six o'clock in the morning, starting next Saturday."

Al-Ayed added that, in return, the curfew will continue to be enforced on Fridays, which are currently in place.

He stressed that work will also continue to stop direct and indirect flights coming from Britain to the Kingdom, which came into effect on the 21st of this month.
