The Attorney General in Tehran, Muhammad Al-Qassi Mehr, accused the British security company "G4S" (G4S) of being involved in the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed earlier this year in an American raid shortly after his arrival at Baghdad Airport International.

The Mizan news website quoted Judge Mehr as saying that the company operating at Baghdad Airport is responsible for securing flights at the airport.

He added that upon Soleimani's arrival at the airport, members of the company reported this to those he described as terrorist organizations.

According to the Iranian judicial official, the British company leaked intelligence about Soleimani to the US forces.

He added that company officials informed the US forces of the arrival of the Quds Force commander and his companions upon their arrival at the airport on January 3.

For its part, the British company rejected the accusation, describing it as an unfounded allegation.

She added that it had nothing to do with the attack, which targeted Soleimani, and also resulted in the killing of a number of his companions, led by Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Authority.

The first official

In the same context, the Iranian "Fars News" agency quoted the head of the judiciary in Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, as saying that US President Donald Trump is the "first criminal" in the file of the assassination of the Iranian military commander.

Trump had bragged about the assassination of Soleimani, and said that he was killed, among other reasons, that he was planning to bomb the United States embassy in Baghdad.

After the assassination, the Iranian forces bombed a base in Al-Anbaa Governorate (western Iraq), which includes American soldiers.

As a result, a number of them suffered a concussion, according to the American official account.

Tehran had repeatedly threatened that it would avenge him.
