12 people were killed in a collision in Egypt

On Thursday, Egyptian media reported that 12 people were killed in a car collision accident on a road located southeast of Aswan Governorate, in the south of the country.

The website "Al Youm Al Sabea" stated that the accident occurred at the entrance to Al-Alaqi and the entrance to Baranis, southeast of Aswan.

The director of the Aswan Ambulance Center, Dr. Mohamed Al-Dakhili, confirmed to Al-Youm Al-Sabea that 12 bodies of victims of the collision accident were transported to the Aswan public morgue by 10 ambulances.

Al-Dakhili added that the accident was the result of a collision between two cars of a quarter of a truck on the "Al-Alaqi Berenice" road linking the governorates of Aswan and the Red Sea.
