Zakharova called Kuleba's words about Crimea "a statement from the underworld"

"A statement from the underworld," Zakharova wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, Kuleba announced his intention to make the Crimean issue a "hellish topic" for Russia.

The head of the Ukrainian community of Crimea, Anastasia Gridchina, noted that such a statement "is no different from previous similar statements."

In her opinion, this is "a senseless sick fantasy of Ukrainian diplomats."

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held on the peninsula in 2014.

Then the overwhelming majority of its inhabitants were in favor of reunification with Russia.
