SKR and the employers' organization Sobona have on Wednesday evening decided to activate a crisis situation agreement in the Uppsala region, according to a press release.

This means, among other things, that emergency overtime can be taken in addition to the regular working hours, and that the regular working hours are increased to 48 hours per week, Sobona writes in the press release.

The agreement also means that staff can be more easily loaned between different regions.

Strained mode

The Uppsala Region requested earlier on Wednesday that the crisis situation agreement be activated for the nurses and assistant nurses who work in intensive care and intermediate care at the University Hospital, due to the strained situation as a result of covid-19.

The decision to activate the agreement was later made by SKR's and Sobona's boards.

At present, five different regions in the country have activated a crisis agreement.

It is the Västra Götaland region, as well as the regions of Stockholm, Gävleborg, Skåne and Uppsala.
