China News Service, December 30th. Title: Lan Ranjun, Non-commissioned Officer of the Second Detachment of the Shanghai Armed Police Force: "Strengthen the sword" in peacetime and "bright the sword" in wartime

  Author Chen Chao Lu Zizhou

There is always a dark figure in the sports equipment room of the No. 1 Squadron of Duty Squadron of the Shanghai Armed Police Corps. He is the Lan Ran Army who is called the "Tietie Squad Leader" by the officers and soldiers.

Lan Ran's army is not big and full of tendons. Although he is not good at speech and has a slightly introverted character, he has become famous for his deeds of catching a fugitive, and he has become a model for the officers and soldiers of the detachment to learn from each other.

In the eight years since he joined the army, he has won the second-class merit once and the third-class merit once, and was awarded the top ten pacesetters of the Armed Police Force.

Inheritance, shining the glory of military families

Lan Ranjun was born in a military family, and with him, two generations of the family have come out of 6 soldiers: Dabo Lan Guangming performed the task and sacrificed the martyrs, Erbo Lan Guangqin has repeatedly made contributions to the railway, cousin Lan Jungen, Lan Yu The army is rooted in Tibet, and the pro-Gelan military standard is already a fourth-level sergeant.

Under the influence of family education, Lan Ranjun grew up a yearning for the career of military personnel, and chose camouflage youth like his elders.

When I first entered the barracks, all kinds of unsuitability came immediately.

Due to his small size, thin stature, and weak physique, Lan Ranjun became the "crane tail" for military training in the squad. After several runs left behind, he secretly wiped his tears in the corner and confided to the squad leader that he also wanted to be a good soldier. , Can't embarrass the father and brother.

"What they can do as a soldier, so can I!" During the journey of gritted teeth and training, Lan Ranjun continued to create a "physical meal" for himself. Others practiced ten times, and he doubled "plus", and others turned off the lights. While sleeping, he continued to exercise.

After washing up at night, looking at the muscle lines that began to emerge in the mirror every day, Lan Ranjun's smile was particularly simple and honest.

With a lot of hard work, Lan Ranjun gradually caught up with and surpassed the same group of comrades. Now, the squadron records of 5 kilometers, 400 meters obstacles, climbing, and pull-ups are all set by him, and ironing has become his habit. , I feel that something is missing without picking up the dumbbells.

In the political education notebook, he left his own training insights: Following the struggling footprints of his fathers and brothers, wearing military uniforms requires abandoning comfort and ease. Even if we fall, our bodies are the Great Wall of Steel.

Every New Year's Day and Spring Festival, the comrades around me picked up their phones and exchanged blessings with relatives and friends, but Lan Ran's army agreed with his elder brother who was serving in another New Year's Eve-20 kilometers long run.

In the cold wind, even though his face was blue and foggy, he still smiled and said to his comrades that he would welcome the new year with a fighting and charging attitude.

Sharpen, aim to win and practice hard skills

At the end of 2014, the squadron's duties were adjusted to the detention center, where the three-foot post became the center of gravity of the Lan Ran army.

Facing the new transformation, many officers and soldiers are very uncomfortable, and the squadron urgently needs a group of training and teaching backbones who can teach well.

At this time, Lan Ranjun, who had just been transferred to a non-commissioned officer, nominated himself. Seeing that he was calm, down-to-earth and reliable, Chen Hua, the then squadron leader, handed him the task of instructor.

"From scratch, it takes the courage to dare to dare to try!" It is this spirit that supports Lan Ran's army.

At that time, his timetable was full. Under the leadership of the squadron leader, he and several comrades learned new guard duties, studied the mission area and the deployment of troops, practiced special training during the day, and wrote lesson plans at night.

In order to compile the main geographies of soldiers and obtain the most accurate data, he took the soldiers in the class to rehearse the scenes of the suspects when they escaped from different places, and then ran the lines one by one, and the escape distance was accurate to meters and the escape time was accurate. To seconds.

The deduction of the situation over and over is boring, but Lan Ranjun enjoys it.

When someone asked him why he tried so hard and "entered into the play" as a "fugitive", Lan Ranjun said: "Only by predicting all possible escape routes and methods, can we know ourselves and the enemy and survive all battles."

The officers and men of the squadron knew that the Lan Ran army was good at capturing the enemy.

But what is less known is that when he first joined the army, he was physically uncoordinated and lacked strength. The class was selected as a demonstration class for capturing the enemy, but he was temporarily "drawn" out of the battle, worried about affecting the performance of his comrades.

"I can't be driven out of the martial arts field anymore!" The Lan Ran army secretly made up his mind and began his own "cultivation."

Don’t hold arms on top of the abdomen, throw your legs up and throw...Back the essentials, remember the formula, make the gestures over and over again, again and again, Lan Ran’s army asked the enemy instructor to teach alone, and he worked hard on the training field. Strictly and carefully train, if the movements are not in place, perform posture exercises, which must be five or ten minutes, trying to form muscle memory.

The effort paid off, and now he has also become the squadron's instructor for catching the enemy, standing in front of the team, passing the scriptures to his comrades.

To win, the mission is on your shoulders

On March 11, 2019, the Lan Ran army returned from vacation and just walked into the gate of the detention center. Suddenly, he found that a criminal suspect broke free of control while getting off the car while the police were unprepared. He ran towards the gate of the detention center without saying a word. Hold your arms and lock your throat, and work with another comrade to push it to the ground.

At this time, the suspect had lost his mind, was struggling madly and even wanted to bite Lan Ran's army, but was tightly clamped by Lan Ran's "unicorn arms" and was instantly subdued.

At the moment of receiving the "second-class merit" certificate, Lan Ranjun shared his thoughts with his comrades: "I have been in the army for more than 6 years, and I have been training hard for more than 6 years. What I have to wait is those 6 seconds!"

As early as 2018, the first CIIE dinner was held in Shanghai. The Lan Ran army took the initiative to invite Ying to take on the security task, but whether it can finally go into battle depends on its strength.

It was the experience of this mission that allowed Lan Ranjun to understand what is meant by "single soldier action, national image."

The task is the highest standard and the most stringent requirement. He and his comrades made preparations for nearly a month in advance, including studying various duty regulations for guard work, detailed surveys of the terrain, perfecting the key geographies, and continuously strengthening handling training for more than 50 situations , Training till late every day.

The most troublesome thing for Lan Ranjun is learning English on duty. He has a poor performance in small English and it is more difficult to memorize words than to run obstacles!

But he realized that the CIIE is an international event, and he can deal with various situations only when he is on duty and pass English. Therefore, he marked the pronunciation and explanation under each word, remembering repeatedly every day, even before eating and sleeping. After reviewing it in my head and carrying a small dictionary with me, my English on duty has improved significantly.

After 8 years, standing at the turning point of military career, Lan Ranjun still chose to stick to it.

Standing on the high prison wall, he was always watching the wind and grass in the prison area. A guard was two hours long, and an average of five guards had to be stationed in two days. Counting down, he kept this alert posture for 1825 hours a year. .

He often smiled and said to the soldiers that we are a wall that shelters the wind and rain, keeping the danger out of the daily lives of the people.

"Only by putting 100% enthusiasm into training can we perfectly deal with the one-percent critical moment." This is Lan Ranjun's perception of duty.

In the eight years of enlisting in the army, the Lan Ran Army has undertaken 171 escort missions, escorted 1,566 prisoners in total, and participated in 11 major temporary missions, all of which were completed with high quality without any errors.
