Wemding (dpa / lby) - After two deer were killed in Swabia, the police are investigating unknown dog owners.
Hunting tenants reported on Tuesday, the police said on Wednesday.
"The background was the report of a walker who discovered a defaced dead deer in a meadow," the message said.
The animal was undoubtedly poached by a dog.
A dead deer with similar injuries was found last week.
The police are now looking for witnesses who have observed dogs hunting in the Wemding area (Donau-Ries district).
