In Osnabrück, Lord Mayor Wolfgang Griesert (CDU) wants to give a statement in front of a facility after the campaign.
For virological reasons, no media representatives could be present at the vaccination, the city said.
Osnabrück recently recorded far more new corona infections than the national average.
The vaccination campaigns are also due to start on Wednesday in the Hanover region and the Nienburg district.
According to the Ministry of Health in Hanover, Lower Saxony is initially concentrating on the use of mobile vaccination teams in old people's and nursing homes.
The district of Leer is also inviting journalists to a test run at the vaccination center in a former school in Hesel this Wednesday (10:00 a.m.).
The authority said that the district's facility has been operational since December 15.
