China has agreed to enter into an investment agreement with the European Union.

EU Commissioner Fon der Raien said he and German Prime Minister Merkel and French President Macron made a video call with Chinese President Xi Jinping and agreed to sign an agreement.

The signing of the agreement gives both companies much more freedom to access the other market.

European companies can do business in China without setting up a joint venture, and China has decided to ban forced technology transfers by foreign companies.

It is said that the signing of the agreement has provided a way out for China to escape pressure from the United States.
