Braunschweig (AP) - The cup match between Alba Berlin and the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig can take place on Thursday.
The Braunschweig health department lifted the quarantine of the Löwen team on Wednesday after the control tests for the corona virus were negative for all players.
As a precaution, the Lower Saxony had gone into domestic isolation on Tuesday after a player had a weakly positive result.
The player who was not named was also tested negative in the control test, so that the first result was subsequently classified as “false positive”, as the club announced on Wednesday.
The Braunschweiger Bundesliga game against Bonn was postponed on Tuesday.
The cup game in Berlin on New Year's Eve (2 p.m. / Magentasport) will now take place as planned.
