Municipal policewoman Katarina Johansson looks around the square in Ronneby.

Since the riots, it has been quiet in the center.

Apart from the calls the police received that there would have been something going on again, the police see the whole thing as an isolated incident.

- It is clear that things happen because people live here, but there is nothing that has been in connection with the riots, says Katarina Johansson.

"Ronneby is in many ways a safe city"

Twelve young men are suspected of violent rioting and gross blue-light sabotage, after they could be identified through police body cameras and store surveillance systems.

Prosecution will take place in 2021.

Despite what Ronneby suffered during the year, this year's local safety survey shows that the residents in the municipality feel safer than in a long time.

The police have an increased presence and Katarina Johansson feels that the residents are satisfied with the police's work.

Next year, she wishes to be able to see more meeting places for young people.

- There is a need for a place for young people over the age of 15 to meet healthy adults.
