This was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.

“I am signing this decree for the sake of restoring justice and solving the constitutional crisis,” Zelensky said.

Earlier, Zelensky discussed with the chairman of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio the "constitutional crisis" in the country caused by the contradictions between the head of state and the Constitutional Court.

On October 27, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine ruled that part of the provisions of the law “On Prevention of Corruption” was not in conformity with the basic law of the country.

This also affected the criminal liability for inaccurate declaration of income by officials.

After that, Zelensky introduced a bill to parliament, which proposes to deprive the judges of the Constitutional Court of their powers and restore the law on declaration that they had canceled.

The judge of the Constitutional Court Igor Slidenko predicted Ukraine's collapse in the event of the dissolution of the judicial body.
