China News Service, Chengdu, December 29 (Reporter Wang Peng) The reporter learned from the PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company ("Southwest Oil and Gas Field") on the 29th that as of 8 o'clock on the 29th, the Southwest Oil and Gas Field has produced a total of 10,001,900 million cubic meters of shale gas this year. , Becoming the largest shale gas development company in China with annual gas production.

It is reported that the shale gas production areas of the Southwest Oil and Gas Field are mainly distributed in Sichuan Yibin, Zigong, Neijiang, Luzhou and Chongqing Yongchuan.

Since the beginning of this year, the Southwest Oil and Gas Field has drilled more than 240 shale gas wells, with a new annual production capacity of 8.685 billion cubic meters, and a 40% increase in daily gas production from the beginning of the year.

The Sichuan Basin is rich in shale gas resources.

Southwest Oil and Gas Field started shale gas exploration and development evaluation in 2006, and took the lead in carrying out comprehensive evaluation of shale gas geology in 2007.

After more than ten years of technical research and production construction, China's largest shale gas production area has been built, and more than a dozen domestic firsts have been created.

According to reports, in 2010, the Southwest Oil and Gas Field drilled China's first shale gas well-Well Wei 201, which opened the prelude to China's shale gas exploration and development.

In March 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission of China and the National Energy Administration of China approved the construction of the Changning-Weiyuan shale gas industrialization demonstration zone by PetroChina and the establishment of a shale gas exploration and development technical standard system, which was organized and implemented by the Southwest Oil and Gas Field.

In January 2016, the Southwest Oil and Gas Field built PetroChina's first national-level shale gas demonstration zone, achieving scale-efficient development.

At present, the proven reserves of the southern Sichuan shale gas production area exceed one trillion cubic meters, and it will enter a new period of rapid production.

The reporter learned that the shale gas output of the Southwest Oil and Gas Field is expected to exceed 22 billion cubic meters in 2025, and strive to reach 27 billion cubic meters, accounting for about 50% of the gas output of the Southwest Oil and Gas Field at the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
