Rogozin wrote a letter to the US Secretary of Commerce on sanctions

He said that he turned to the head of NASA, but that he was limited "at this political moment" in his capabilities.

“Last week I signed a letter to the US Secretary of Commerce, whose department is precisely the initiator of these sanctions.

I also signed a letter where I explain that this is most likely a mistake, and let my colleagues deal with this issue once again, ”RIA Novosti Rogozin quotes.

He called the sanctions "an unpleasant political background that was inspired by Russophobes."

Rogozin doubted that the sanctions would negatively affect production in Russia.

“We are fully equipped both in rocketry and in the creation of our ship exclusively from Russian components,” he added.

Earlier Rogozin called on the United States to lift the sanctions against the enterprises of the state corporation and consider them a "misunderstanding." 

In December, the US Department of Commerce published a list of Russian and Chinese organizations in respect of which the US authorities intend to impose export restrictions.

The list includes the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Foreign Intelligence Service, Rostec, as well as companies in the space industry.
