Mainz (AP) - FSV Mainz 05 will probably not introduce a new coach before the upcoming Bundesliga game on Sunday (6 p.m. / Sky) at Bayern.
The Bundesliga team is currently planning that interim coach Jan Siewert will look after the team in Munich, said the new sports director Martin Schmidt at a press conference on Tuesday.
The new head coach could then be presented in the coming week.
"We want a new trainer, a new stimulus, a new impetus," said Schmidt.
