US pharmaceutical company Modena announced on the 29th (local time) that "we confirm that we have discussed with the Korean government to potentially supply 40 million doses or more of the Corona 19 vaccine."

Modena said in an official press release, "This is to support the South Korean government's goal of providing the vaccine to the public as soon as possible, and will begin distribution in the second quarter of 2021, subject to the terms of the proposed agreement."

This is the same as the content of the vaccine supply agreement with Modena announced by our government.

Because Modena's COVID-19 vaccine requires two doses, a 40 million dose of vaccine is enough to inoculate 20 million people.

The Blue House said yesterday (29th) that President Moon Jae-in had agreed to supply 20 million vaccines to South Korea by Modena in a phone call with Modena's Chief Executive Officer Stefan Bansel (CEO).
