Hamburg / Kiel (dpa / lno) - Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Health Heiner Garg has spoken out against special rights for people who have been vaccinated against the corona virus.

On Tuesday, the FDP politician said on NDR Info that because of the limited amount of vaccine so far, privileges for the few vaccinated are unimaginable.

"We came through the pandemic together as a society in solidarity," explained Garg. Now many people are giving vaccinations to those who are particularly at risk. Privileges for vaccinated people are hard to imagine. The FDP politician believes that an obligation to get vaccinated if the desired so-called herd immunity is not achieved is problematic. The vaccination readiness will continue to increase, said Garg. "The problem in the next few weeks will rather be that we don't get as much vaccine delivered as there are people willing to vaccinate."
