Istanbul (dpa) - The legal dispute between Max Kruse and his former club Fenerbahce Istanbul has been settled according to the Turkish football club.

The legal dispute was concluded in peace after talks, Fenerbahce Istanbul announced on Tuesday.

"We wish Max Kruse success in his further career and wish that the agreement will bring benefits for both sides," it said.

Details were not given.

The world association FIFA recently decided in favor of Kruse in the legal dispute.

According to dpa information, the Turkish club's claim for millions is off the table, and Kruse can even expect additional payment of his salary.

Ex-national player Kruse had resigned Fenerbahce because of alleged outstanding salaries and then moved to Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin free of charge.

1. FC Union announced in the summer that Fenerbahce had deposited the documents required to issue the game permit.

The Istanbul club, however, filed a lawsuit against Kruse for unlawful termination with FIFA.

Sums were not officially mentioned.
