An Egyptian minister thanks the UAE for its support for stranded people

The Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, Ambassador Nabila Makram Abdel Shaheed, thanked the UAE for its contribution to solving the crisis of Egyptian citizens stranded in the country, after the Kuwaiti authorities announced the suspension of aviation traffic to it during the current period and until the beginning of 2021.

Ambassador Nabila Makram praised the national role for the concerted efforts and continuous coordination between the various parties, asking Egyptian citizens stuck in the UAE to respect the laws and regulations applied in the host countries, and to understand the exceptional situation the world is going through and the efforts of the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, which seeks by all means to support them until a while. Countries opened their doors again to those coming to them.

The minister renewed the call for Egyptians residing in the UAE to join hands and participate in the "Let us support one another" initiative, with the aim of providing assistance and assistance to their Egyptian brothers stranded in the country during this period.

The Minister pointed out to activate the operations room of Egyptians stranded outside their place of residence, after a number of countries announced the closure of their borders at the present time, and called for communication with the chamber in the event of any obstacles, directing sincere thanks to the UAE, which every Egyptian considers their second country.
