China News Service, Beijing, December 28 (Guo Chaokai, Zheng Yingying) At 23:44 on December 27, Beijing time, the Long March 4 Bingyao 35 carrier rocket ignited at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and launched with "one arrow and two stars". The method successfully sent the remote sensing 33 satellite and the micro-nano technology test satellite into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

This mission is the final battle of China's aerospace in 2020; so far, the launch mission of China's Long March series of carrier rockets during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period has successfully concluded.

The two satellites launched this time were all developed by the Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

The Remote Sensing No. 33 satellite and the micro-nano technology test satellite are mainly used in the fields of scientific experimentation, land and resources survey, agricultural production estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation.

The Long March 4C carrier rocket for this launch mission is a normal temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket developed by the Shanghai Academy of Aerospace Technology. It has the ability to launch multiple types of satellites with different orbital requirements. Star launch, its sun-synchronous circular orbit carrying capacity can reach 3 tons (orbital height of 700 kilometers).

The launch of the mission was carried out at the end of the year, and the launch window was late at night. The weather conditions were unusually cold, which brought great challenges to launch preparations.

Based on the experience of Long March 4B series carrier rockets (including Long March 4B and Long March 4C2 carrier rockets) in response to winter launches many times, the test team carried out a review of 20 winter launch safeguard measures for this rocket. Ensure that the plan is feasible and reliable.

This mission is the sixth mission of the Long March 4B series carrier rocket this year.

During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the Changsi B series rockets carried out 24 launches and successfully put 53 satellites into the predetermined orbits, which strongly supported the implementation of major national space projects.

The above-mentioned missions were launched at three bases in Taiyuan, Jiuquan and Xichang. The rockets adopted 7 different overall configurations. The missions covered sun-synchronous orbits, low-inclination orbits, and earth-moon transfer orbits, reflecting the extremely strong rocket models. Adaptability.

In terms of technology, the Long March 4B series of carrier rockets have made considerable progress. The performance of the rocket has been further improved through the implementation of technologies such as dual strapdown redundancy in the control system, iterative guidance, three-stage engine improvement, and telemetry image monitoring. And reliability; the equipped grid rudder landing zone control system and the last sub-level orbit retention application system have successfully passed the flight verification, have a good application prospect, and have accumulated valuable technical reserves for the subsequent expansion of the model.

In response to the demand for high-density launches, the Long March 4B series carrier rockets continued to optimize the scientific research and production mode and development technology process, which greatly improved the flexibility of development and production and the response speed to tasks. The launch cycle was optimized from 25 working days to 18 Working day. This launch is the 69th launch of the Long March 4B series carrier rocket and the 357th launch of the Long March series carrier rocket. (Finish)
