Röbel (dpa / mv) - A 16-year-old has received several reports after a kilometer-long chase with the police.
At a traffic control on Saturday, he suddenly drove away with his moped, as the police announced on Monday.
During the approximately seven-kilometer chase near Röbel (Mecklenburg Lake District), he repeatedly disregarded the right of way, and he and his eleven-year-old passenger fell in a field.
Both were unharmed.
Afterwards it turned out that the driver did not have a driver's license, the moped was stolen and not insured.
In addition, his drug pretest was positive.
The driver has been reported, among other things, for endangering road traffic, driving without a driver's license, driving a vehicle under the influence of narcotics, as well as possession, theft and violation of the statutory insurance law.
