"On December 28, 2020, the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being of the Population of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (Council of Heads) was held in the video-conference mode," the statement on the agency's website says.
It is noted that the event was attended by the chief state sanitary doctors of the EAEU countries.
During the meeting, Rospotrebnadzor expressed its readiness to continue helping partner countries in the fight against coronavirus.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova in an interview with RIA Novosti said that the continuation of vaccination against coronavirus infection COVID-19 will help improve the epidemiological situation by spring.
