Engineering group Metso Outotec will sell its aluminum business to the French conglomerate Reel International, Metso Outotec says in a press release.
The company does not state the purchase price.
The business includes facilities and equipment related to the manufacture and finishing of raw anodes for aluminum smelters and foundry technologies, as well as related services.
Approximately 120 Metso Outotec employees will move to Reeli in January – March in connection with the confirmation of the transaction.
The decision to sell the aluminum business was announced a year ago and has since been reported as a discontinued operation at Metso Outotec.
