Inhabitants of the Indian city of Sittapur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, saw a little monkey snatch from a man, Bhagwan Din, a handbag containing a huge sum of Indian rupees, 400 thousand, the equivalent of 4.5 thousand euros. The animal, evidently hungry, after having climbed a tree, started rummaging inside the bag in search of food. As she went, she threw out the bills until her purse was completely empty. The local people gathered under the tree and threw themselves to collect the banknotes, causing a fight. The owner of the money tried, in vain, to calm the monkey. Bhagwan Din then filed the complaint with the police.
