On the spot, the man led the investigators to the child's room, where he confessed to having strangled him in his sleep.

The 40-year-old was arrested without offering any resistance.

He was taken into custody.

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Departmental Security of Bas-Rhin.

According to the first elements of the investigation, he would have acted "out of revenge", according to the radio.
