The 15th day barely completed, the Premier League continues directly with the 16th from this Monday, and it will perhaps be a new opportunity for the leader Liverpool to see his pursuers tear each other apart.

Held in check by West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, the Reds failed to take advantage of the draw between Leicester and Manchester United or that of Southampton, or the defeat of Chelsea, and saw Everton come back to three lengths.

The schedule for the next day could however be favorable to them and cause damage in the chasing pack, with in particular Chelsea (eighth) which receives Aston Villa (seventh), Monday at 6.30 pm.

For the Blues, already seven lengths behind the leader, a defeat would be a huge step backwards, while a victory for the Birmingham club would place the latter not far from the podium, with two fewer matches in addition.

At 9:00 p.m., the new runner-up Everton (29 points) will host Manchester City, sixth three away from the Toffees, with one game less.

The other Liverpool club, which had suffered a big slump after a cannonball start to the season, is coming back with a more defensive and combative, but effective style of play, as City rack up the victories thanks to a defense become impermeable (two goals conceded in his last ten matches, all competitions combined).

At the start of the day, Leicester, very comfortable away from his bases, will want to consolidate his place on the podium (third) by going to Crystal Palace (14th), while Tuesday evening (9:00 pm) Manchester United, fourth and undefeated for eight matches in the league, will have a lot to face Wolverhampton, never easy to maneuver.

On Wednesday, it will be the turn of Spurs, who have taken just 2 points in their last 4 games, to try to keep the wheel of the first by receiving Fulham, promoted and relegated, while Liverpool will close the day with a trip to Newcastle (13th).
