After the count, it is now time to compile the results.

For this, the Céni has set up its operations center at the Palais des Congrès in Niamey.

It is only after receipt and verification that it will gradually list the provisional results.

The kickoff of the compilation, which will allow the proclamation and dissemination of the provisional results

of the presidential and legislative elections in Niger

was given this Monday, December 28 with a slight delay.

It is therefore the beginning of a long process, called “election night” which begins and will last for several days.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (Céni) has therefore installed a

results compilation

center at the Palais des Congrès in Niamey

.

There are fax telephones downstairs, with technicians and commissioners, who take calls and documents from the eight regions of the country.

The results are gradually sent by fax and email then the CENI checks them and makes them public.

They are then broadcast in real time on the national radio and television.

Representatives of political parties are also present at the Palais des congrès to follow the operations as closely as possible.

At midday, we could already hear the phone ringing, a sign that the results are coming slowly, after long work at the local level, then at the regional level.

There is no precise date for the announcement of the presidential results, the compilation of the results will take a little time, at least several days.
