Möckern (dpa / sa) - In a traffic accident on the A2 motorway, two people were killed on Sunday evening.
The driver of a minibus with four other occupants crashed into a semitrailer truck driving in front of him near Möckern (Jerichower Land district) shortly before the border with Brandenburg, the police said.
The driver of the minibus died at the scene of the accident, a passenger died later in the hospital.
Three other co-drivers survived the accident.
The cause of the accident was unknown.
The autobahn in the direction of Berlin was closed for several hours.
