Rostock (dpa / mv) - Third division soccer team FC Hansa Rostock is starting the new year with a new striker.

As reported by the “Bild” newspaper (Monday), the Mecklenburg Lion Lauberbach borrowed from second division leader Holstein Kiel until the end of the season.

There has not yet been an official confirmation from the clubs.

The 22-year-old Lauberbach is supposed to take on the role of Maurice Litka in the team of Hansa coach Jens Härtel, who tore a cruciate ligament in the game at FC Ingolstadt a good two weeks ago.

Lauberbach moved from FSV Zwickau to Kiel for the 2019/20 season.

For the “Storks” he has played 24 games in the second division so far and scored three goals.
