The official Israeli Broadcasting Organization reported Sunday that Saudi companies have expressed their interest in investing in various sectors in Israel, particularly in the technology sector, during talks in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

The official channel stated on its website that meetings between businessmen were held recently in Manama and discussed this matter, as Saudi companies expressed their desire to invest in Israeli companies through Bahrain and to take advantage of the opportunity that was created after establishing relations between Israel and Gulf countries.

The channel quoted one of the participants in these meetings as saying that this indicates that things have begun to change in Saudi Arabia, referring to its position on normalization with Israel.

Bahrain and Israel launched official relations last September, and several Bahraini companies and institutions signed memoranda of understanding and cooperation with Israeli parties.
