Fomin noted that NATO countries often ignore Russian proposals on the reciprocal withdrawal of exercise areas from the contact line.
“On the eve of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Barents Sea, exercises were held by a detachment of warships of the NATO joint naval forces,” said the military leader.
According to him, in August and September, in the immediate vicinity of the Russian border, the military recorded more than 15 flights of American strategic bombers B-52H and B-1B.
Earlier, Fomin commented on the desire of some countries to conduct a dialogue with Russia "from a position of strength."
