Halle (dpa / sa) - A 17-year-old was beaten and robbed by young people in Halle.
Three young men had asked the 17-year-old and a 13-year-old on Sunday night to hand over valuables, the police said.
When the two refused to do so, one of the youngsters hit the 17-year-old several times in the face with his fist.
Another person involved is said to have threatened the young man with a weapon-like object.
A 44-year-old witness was also threatened with it, according to the police.
One of the alleged attackers is said to have pushed the 17-year-old off his scooter and escaped with it. The other two youths fled on foot. The robbed man suffered minor injuries. The search for the perpetrators was still ongoing on Sunday afternoon. The criminal police are investigating.
