Erfurt (dpa / th) - After the anti-corona measures were relaxed over Christmas, the stricter contact and exit restrictions in Thuringia will apply again from today (00.00 a.m.).
People in one household are only allowed to meet members of another household.
In any case, only gatherings of a maximum of five people are allowed, whereby children who have not yet had their 14th birthday are not counted.
This emerges from the currently applicable ordinance to contain the corona pandemic.
For Christmas Eve and the two Christmas holidays, the contact restrictions were temporarily relaxed.
The night curfew in Thuringia was also suspended.
As of Sunday, Thuringians will again not be allowed to leave their home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. - unless they have good reasons to do so.
These include walking the dog, emergencies or commuting to work.
Easings are only planned for New Year's Eve.
