Due to the new mutation of the coronavirus, it has been forbidden to transport passengers from the UK to Sweden since 21 December.

Still, 33 people who boarded the plane landed in London at Arlanda on Saturday morning.

The plane, which has an arrival time of 10.45 to Landvetter on Sunday, has no passengers on board according to Swedavia.

SVT Nyheter Väst is on Landvetter to follow up on this.

Mikael Andersson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Agency, said after yesterday's arrival when 33 passengers came to Sweden from the UK that British Airways misunderstood the Swedish authorities' message.

And that the airline should now have been informed about what applies.

- If there are Swedish passengers on board, it will probably be let in while the British may return home, says Mikael Andersson, press manager at the Swedish Transport Agency on Sunday.
