Liverpool squandered a win that was within reach against West Bromwich Albion, and wasted two valuable points in their struggle to compete for the Premier League title, after they drew 1-1 with him on Sunday in the 15th stage of the competition.

Senegalese Sadio Mane scored an early goal for Liverpool in the 12th minute, before he and the rest of his teammates scrambled to miss all the opportunities they had, especially in the first half, which was dominated by the entire red team.

The punishment came at a fatal time, after West Brom tied with a goal that came through Nigerian Simi Ajay in the 82nd minute, as Liverpool failed to beat their opponents for the fourth consecutive match in various competitions.

Despite the tie, Liverpool remained at the top with 32 points, 3 points ahead of Everton, while West Brom rose to 8 points, but remained in the 19th place (penultimate).
