Beverungen (dpa / lnw) - A half-timbered house burned out in a fire in Beverungen in the Höxter district.
The building was so damaged that it will probably have to be torn down, according to the police on Sunday.
Accordingly, the fire broke out on Saturday in the roof structure and then spread to the first floor and a neighboring house.
The residents were able to leave the house on time and were unharmed.
The cause of the fire was initially unclear on Sunday.
The police estimated the property damage at around 200,000 euros.
