Actress Eddie Murphy’s 1988 Favorite Movie for the Prince Bride (Coming to America) gets a sequel in March 2021.
Originally, the film was supposed to premiere in movie theaters as early as this fall.
However, due to the corona pandemic, the sequel will not be seen on the big screens as the film studio Paramount sold the film’s rights to the streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
The new Coming 2 America film sees many familiar faces from the original film in their old familiar roles.
The recent trailer for Tuesday’s comedy, directed by Craig Brewer, confirms that in addition to Eddie Murphy, actor Arsenio Hall will also return to his role.
Like the original film, both of them are also seen in the sequel to more than one role.
