Dubai Ambulance finishes its preparations to cover New Year's celebrations

Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services has completed its preparations for the New Year celebrations, as it developed a plan to ensure rapid response to patients and injured, while ensuring the highest levels of quality in service provision, as part of the efforts of the Supreme Committee to secure events in the Emirate of Dubai.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Khalifa Al-Dray, explained that in light of the circumstances resulting from the Corona pandemic and the preventive measures, the organization will activate all the emergency points spread throughout the Emirate of Dubai, which are numbering 122 and include emergency points and specialized units such as an emergency doctor, field hospital, intensive care, motherhood and childhood unit And the infectious disease unit, the people of determination unit, the special transport unit for obese people, and others.

In press statements on the sidelines of the announcement of Dubai ambulance preparations for the New Year celebrations, he indicated the provision of rapid intervention units such as environmentally friendly electric bicycles, first responder and sports cars, in addition to the participation of 685 ambulance personnel, including doctors, emergency medicine technicians and paramedics with a high degree of competence and experience to ensure dealing Express with emergencies and meet all emergency needs in record time.

Al-Dray pointed out that, in addition to the emergency points spread throughout Dubai, the Foundation has worked to distribute 78 additional emergency points based on the geographical distribution of events and activities accompanying the celebrations, places that will witness crowds and in vital areas, internal and external roads.

He explained that the corporation has taken all preventive measures to protect its ambulance cadres and dealers through intensive sterilization operations for ambulances before and after each report, as well as providing all preventive requirements for emergency crews, indicating that the corporation applies the highest standards of health and safety in order to achieve its noble goals in saving lives.

The Executive Director of Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services called on members of the public who suffer from diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and others and wish to come to the event site to bring their medicines with them, avoid gathering places, and adhere to the instructions, tips and preventive measures issued by official authorities.

Al-Dray urged that they not hesitate to request the ambulance service if necessary, as he wished them to spend enjoyable times in the New Year's celebrations.

Al-Dray confirmed that the competent authorities at the level of the Emirate of Dubai have taken all necessary measures and precautions to make the celebrations process a success, indicating that they are working to make celebrations and a happy occasion to be completed by preserving the health of the participants and attendees of those celebrations.

He stated that New Year's celebrations will take place in 40 places and points across Dubai, the most prominent of which are 4 places, namely the Burj Khalifa, the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis hotels, and the Dubai Festival City area.

He pointed out that the celebrations will be in attendance, but according to precautionary measures, the most important of which is the application of physical distancing by determining the capacity of visitors to the various celebration areas and determining the locations of people and the distances between attendees, based on the directives of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai.

Al-Dray said that there will be display screens for celebrations in the workers' areas, specifically in 3 areas: Muhaisnah, Al Quoz and Jebel Ali.
