A man was very seriously injured Sunday in Besançon, in the sensitive district of Planoise, by shots fired through the door of his apartment, we learned from a judicial source.
The vital prognosis of the victim, a 35-year-old man who received several bullets, a priori 9 mm, was still engaged in the late afternoon, said the same source, confirming information from the
Republican East .
An ongoing investigation
The facts took place early in the morning.
People went to the victim's home, in the Planoise district, and initially tried to enter the apartment by breaking down the door.
And that's when the man inside asked what was going on that they opened fire through the door, under the peephole and still at man's height, according to the same source.
An investigation is underway to understand the reasons for this attack and the attackers are wanted, the same source added.
The Planoise district was the scene of a bloody war between drug traffickers at the end of last year and at the beginning of the year.
The neighborhood had, however, found a semblance of calm in recent months.
