If Olivier Giroud remained on the bench with Chelsea, Paul Pogba made an interesting entry into the game with Manchester United and N'Golo Kanté spent lavishly, but in vain with Chelsea, on Saturday, for the traditional "Boxing Day" of the Premier League.

Substitute at kick-off, after his good performance against Everton, Paul Pogba was launched by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when Manchester United could no longer keep the ball or recover it at the start of the second half.

The Frenchman's entry coincided with the Red Devils' best period in the game confirming that he has by far the best creativity / strength ratio in the midfield.

Without any particular brilliance, but very useful collectively, this is undoubtedly the kind of performance expected of him at Old Trafford, knowing that his talent will not fail to express itself at the first opportunity.

Difficult evening for Chelsea, sharply beaten in the derby at Arsenal (3-1) and not in the offensive.

If Olivier Giroud did not have playing time, N'Golo Kanté, in the middle, was one of the most combative Blues failing to really succeed in his match.

He had a little trouble getting into his meeting, missing a few passes, but he, as always, multiplied without counting.

Frank Lampard tried to make his team benefit from his dynamism by making him play higher early in the second half, before replacing him with Kai Havertz, much more suited to this role.

Likewise, Kurt Zouma, in central defense, does not have to be ashamed of his match, even if his team conceded three goals, on which his responsibility is not engaged.

His association with Thiago Silva in the axis, however, gives interesting pledges of strength and his head game on offensive set pieces is also a threat for the opponents.

Often repositioned to the left since Edinson Cavani is a regular holder, Anthony Martial this time had the axis for him during the match at Leicester.

It can't be said that he did much with it, despite a lot of runs across the attacking front and he probably didn't score points to win this position.

In the second half, he thought he scored a cool goal that could have changed the game on the hour mark, but was refused for an offside of a few centimeters.

The height of misfortune for the French, Cavani, who replaced him in the 74th, was immediately decisive, ideally serving Bruno Fernandes for the 2-1 four minutes after his entry.
